Adventure
Lantern Hollow
★★★★★ 4.7
Lantern Hollow is a hand-drawn adventure about a girl relighting the lanterns of a forgotten village. It's short, maybe three hours, but every screen looks like a storybook page and the pacing never drags. Fully offline, no strings attached.
Puzzles are the classic point-and-click sort: find the object, notice the odd detail, connect two things you didn't think were related. Nothing here is unfair, and the hint system nudges rather than solves. I finished it in two sittings and immediately wanted more from the studio.
If you want a game with atmosphere over challenge, this is an easy recommendation. It's the sort of thing that makes a long train ride feel shorter.
